Show Up for What They Care About!

branded bags cause marketing client appreciation promotional products Nov 04, 2026

All season I have been talking about getting to know your clients. Who they are, and what matters to them.

Here is one of the most beautiful ways to put that to work.

Most of your clients have a cause that is near and dear to their heart. Research. Animals. Veterans. Kids. The walk they do every spring, the board they sit on, the photo that has been on their wall for years.

There are two ways you can support what they care about.

The gift you cannot touch

The first is the intangible gift. Volunteer at their nonprofit. Buy a ticket. Sponsor a table. Join a board.

None of it can be wrapped, and it builds a real relationship faster than almost anything I know.

The gift they can hold

The second is the tangible gift. Be a sponsor of their event and put your name on the bag or the T-shirt, or donate them outright.

You are supporting something that matters to them, and you are marketing your business at the same time.

Why a bag?

A branded bag, like The Venture Tote,  is a great outdoor advertising vehicle that does more than show off your logo. Don’t believe it?

One promotional bag delivers 5,700 impressions over its lifetime.

73% of consumers own promotional bags, and 43% keep them for 18 to 24 months. 26% are more likely to do business with the advertiser who gave them that bag.

When you sponsor an event, you want your investment to be seen long after the day is over.

A bag does that. It leaves with them, and it keeps working long after the event is over.

Both kinds of giving matter.

And that is the heart of everything I have shared with you this season. Give first, give freely… and watch the MAGIC that happens.
